    South China Normal University Institute of Optoelectronic Materials and Technology is specialized in optoelectronic materials and device preparation, performance analysis, and applied research research institutions.

    In August 2002, Liu Songhao academician, Professor Fan crystal as the leader in the field,the establishment of Institute of optoelectronic material and technology on the basis of the original MOCVD laboratory. Through years of laboratory construction, the Institute of Optoelectronic Materials and Technology has developed into the South China Normal University, the focus of optical disciplines and optoelectronic materials and devices in the direction of the straight line of key scientific research institutions.

    The Institute of Optoelectronic Materials and Technology has three Ph.D. points: physics, optics, microelectronics and solid electronics; 4 master's degree: optical, optical engineering, microelectronics and solid electronics, materials physics and chemistry and an optical postdoctoral mobile station.

    Optoelectronic Materials and Technology Institute of the laboratory construction funds more than 40 million yuan, built a number of leading domestic photoelectric materials research and development laboratories, including material growth laboratory, structural analysis laboratory, spectral analysis laboratory, material electrical analysis experiment room, device reliability analysis laboratory, chip technology laboratory and LED application research and development laboratories. My unit has undertaken nearly 100 countries, ministries, provincial and municipal major scientific and technological projects, the results were significant.
